This is a wierd dream that was about me being in the U.S. Army again and getting to use some new technology. This dream took place on an Army training ground that was basically the old trailer park that I lived in. Except the Army owned it and it happened in the same geographic area but in the future.
This one is a dream that have many morphings in it. I won't mention too much about right now because I have other things to do and it takes me hours to type out these dreams. I do have some pictures of the bullets that were in my dream. Here they are listed below.
This ammuntion is a revolutionary type of bullet for the military. I don't know if it exists or not. I am just going by what happened in my dream. As far as I know, this only exists in my dream and is the only source of my knowledge of it.
I can tell you some about it because I know some about weaponry. I saw the ammo in my dream and was using it on the training ground in my dream that was about the U.S. Army's training ground in the future located at Spring Meadows trailer park in New Salisbury Indiana.
The ammunition was a new type developed to solve many problems with existing automatic weapons. The casing was shorter because they wanted to eliminate more time for the bolt assembly to be able to feed the round into the chamber. Another reason for the shorter round and the shape was to help eliminate jamming.
That is why this cartridge is shaped the way it is. To eliminate jamming by providing more of a cylindrical object for mechanical motion. To keep the same amount of power in the balistics of the cartridge, they had to make it wider to accomodate for the shorter length and to still hold about the same amount of powder.
The shape and composition of the bullet was different also. It was designed to be used as an armor piercing round and anti-personell. It was not intended for piercing vehicle armor like on tanks, but body armor on troops. This is the future we are talking about.
Are troops already wear body armor. This bullet is designed to penetrate that armor but yet still expand to cause massive internal injury. It has a strong steel core that had a very pointed tip for penetrating. The outside is lead jacketed with copper.
The core is set to tumble when it hits soft tissue. Thus causing it to rip as it moves in the body, much like the AK-74 or the FN Five-Seven pistol. If the target victim is not wearing any armor, it's copper jacketed lead skin still peels away on impact and expands the wound.
This was a cool bullet and I think that the Army was very proud of it in my dream. I modeled some pictures of it from what I remember it in my dream. This isn't the full story but I don't have much time today to describe it in length.
