Fall of 2003,

This dream gets me a lot of laughs and strange looks. It is one of my most humorous dreams recently. I will summarize and go in to more detail later. The begining of this dream that I can remember starts out when I am in a field. I am in the middle of a field wearing an Army uniform and a combat load.

I am under fire by what appears to be North Koreans. It seems toward the evening like around 5:00 - 7:00PM in the summer before it gets dark but while the sun is a few hours away from setting. There is tall grass all around and it is a little dry from the dry heat.

The grass is about knee high so it is easy to hide in if you get down low. Me and a combat buddy are under attack by the Koreans. We have been dodging attacks for hours. It is a pretty bad situation. We find a little of cover behind a small dirt mound to help us hide behind.

It dosen't matter because the attacks come over top of us. They are launching dead diseased chicken carcasses at us with catapults. We are laying on our backs and our sides trying to keep low so hopfully the enemy won't see us. We can hear them yelling instructions at each other but we can't understand them.

They keep launching the carcasses at us to try to kill us with disease because disease is a horrible death. There are some trees around where we are but not many. They are old creepy looking trees like something out of a haunting movie. We are low enough that we don't think that we can bee seen but yet the Koreans are hitting at us with some good accuracy. Sometime inches away from us.

We don't have much weaponry to speak of, just some shoulder fired slingshots to use against the Koreans. That dosen't work well because they keep throwing the chickens at us. I tell my combat partner to be careful and stay still while looking at the sky so when they launch the carcasses, we can move out of the way.

It works and the Koreans miss us every time because we wait until the chicken is in the air before we move. That keeps them from falling on us. I was wondering why they were able to hit at us with so much accuracy, they had tall grass and a dirt mound in between us and them. They seemed as if they could see us though.

As I was laying on my back waiting for a chicken to be launched, I saw something above me. Hanging from the tree branches were mirrors. This is how the Koreans were seeing us. They had mirrors hanging from the trees so they could see around the area. These mirrors were positioned to allow them to see most of the areas where the mirrors were.

I told my battle buddy to look at the mirrors and shoot them out. We shot them out and broke them with our shoulder fired slingshots. We successfully broke the mirrors and the Koreans had a hard time targeting us. Then they stopped launching the chicken carcasses at us and began to come after us.

We shot at them with the slingshots and decided to retreat to our bunker. I told my battle buddy that we were going to make a quick run for the bunker. This is about the time when I realized that my battle partner was Michael Jackson. He didn't look like Michael Jackson before. I don't know why he did now.

But this was the cool Michael Jackson, before he got into the white glove. We began to run toward our bunker which was just a few yards behind where we were at the dirt mound. The bunker was a chainlink fence dog kennel with a blue tarp covering it on all sides. We ran in it while the Koreans were chasing us.

We were suprised that we were safe in there. It seemed that the Koreans went away or something. But on the inside of the bunker it didn't look like a chainlink fence dog kennel with a blue tarp over it. It looked like a real concrete bunker with a dirt floor inside. And it had a few lights in the top of it so we could see.

We were safe in there and Michael was frustrated with the Koreans for throwing the chicken carcasses at us and attacking. He began to be mad and almost started crying. I told him that he shouldn't worry, we'll kill them. I can't remember much from this dream that is more than what I put here because the dream then began to morph into something else.

Here is a picture that I modeled of the battle area. This isn't completely what it looked like but it will help you to visualize what it was like. I never finished this model because I had so many other ideas that I was starting on so I wouldn't forget them.
